Weddings have captured my heart over the past few years. I love the meaning, sentiment and beauty they hold. Tho, no matter how wonderful they are, the couple are always my favorite element. I will forever love photographing the connections a couple in love share. I get crazy excited when my couples are just as excited to escape the crazy of the day and just spend an hour together having fun, laughing and taking amazing photos they are gonna love forever!
As you start planning your wedding, I really want to help you in any way that I can! There is no detail too small! From helping brides find the perfect ring box for bridal details, or helping you decide the best time of day for your ceremony! I am here for you! You will get to see my photography skills in action during the engagment session! One thing I do that is unique to my business is I will send out a questionnaire that goes over your engagment gallery. What you loved, what you might want to change and what you really want to focus on the wedding day!
Kirstie was the most amazing wedding photographer we could have wished for. Even though we were already married (thanks covid) she suggested an engagement photo session to break the ice and get to know each other. She is fantastic about posing so it doesn't feel awkward or forced but results in fantastic amazing photos. She is super kind and friendly and makes everyone feel at ease. She kicked out all the family photos we wanted in 1/4 the designated time so we had plenty of extra goofy shots that are super fun. And as a total bonus, she started sending sneak peaks less than 24 hours after the event!! She is super communicative, really easy and really fun to work with, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos.

Getting an Heirloom Wedding Album is one of the best ways to remember your wedding day! Holding your photos in your hand able to go through your whole day is so special!!!
NERD FACTS: Your brain lights up more when you look at actual photos vs a phone or computer screen. Also, your album is guaranteed 100 years, so you'r legendary day is going to outlast your life and be a beautiful piece of your family history.
We have lot's of customizable options, and beautiful covers to choose from to make sure your album is perfect! Don't worry about the design process, I do all that for you! You will get a chance to proof your album before it's sent off to be made so rest assured it will be perfect!
engagement sessions
Engagement Sessions are one of my favorite things!! They are so fun and have no stress of a wedding day timeline! Oh and if you've got one, bring your doggie!
We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. First, they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how we pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why we’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.
What do I need to do to Book?
$1,500 is needed to officially book me as your wedding photographer. This is a non-refundable retainer and secures your wedding date with me and is part of the total package price. (This will be included in the same document as the contract I will send so everything is all in one place! Super Easy! The remaining payment is due 3 weeks prior to your wedding.

Do you pose people? What do I do with my hands?
There will be a mixture of candid and posed photographs captured. At certain points during the day, I may pose you, your wedding details, your bridal party, and anything you advise me upon. The candid photos will be taken throughout the wedding day, especially during the reception and dance parts of the party.

How many hours of coverage do I need?
Most weddings I start right as you are finished with makeup and hair, and go all the way to first dances and party dancing. This is going to need at least 7 hours, but between 8-10 is going to fit the majority of wedding days best!
